Preston S. Brown born and raised in Camden, NJ. A 2003 graduate of Woodrow Wilson HS where he starred in 3 sports making All-American in both football and track and being a member of the All State Team in Basketball during his senior year. Brown was also the only senior male student in his graduating class in the National Honor Society at Woodrow Wilson. Brown accepted a full athletic football Scholarship to Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Brown was a 4 year letter-winner starting 23 of his last 24 games for the Green Wave. Brown was team Captain in his Jr. and Sr. Seasons. Brown has done extensive work in the both the New Orleans and Camden Community working with adjudicated young men and women in the alternative educational settings, group homes, and athletics. Brown graduated in 2007 from Tulane with a BA in Paralegal Studies and later received his Master’s in Education from American Intercontinental University in 2009.
Brown had several NFL contracts including a rookie camp invitation to the NY Jets organization in 2007. In 2009 Brown signed a contract to play in the UFL for the NY Sentinels and in 2010 he signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Soul. Immediately following Brown continued his work in his home town of Camden, NJ working with young men in group home settings providing leadership and mentoring through education and sports. Brown started Great U Sports Academy in 2011 as a way to provide a high level of sports training in addition to personal development for the youth. This quest to build personal development is ongoing and Brown has fully accepted the challenge. Eager to continue to build on the sports side Brown has partnered up with Marcus Hammond, Aaron Beasley, and Brandon Bather all former players in football with the drive to help young men and women alike achieve greatness.
Brown currently works as an Insurance Advisor and Financial Planner for Mutual of Omaha, he is also a devoted Husband and father of 3 children.
